“3 Goals Scored and No Goals Conceded” - Finally a score line that’s familiar. Crespo did start this one as Drogba was suspended as did score a classy goal as usual. Crespo has scored 4 goals for Chelsea, the latest against Newcastle being his 1^st at Stamford Bridge in 2 years. The 1^st half was kind of boring but as usual after José Mourinho half time talks Chelsea were a different side in the 2^nd half. Joe Cole scored the 1^st goal in the 46^th minute; Crespo added another in the 51^st min (amazing ball control) and Duff got a lucky 3^rd in the 90^th minute when his shot deflected off ex-Chelsea player Parker.

A good win for Chelsea though Newcastle were without lead strikes Michael Owen & Alan Shearer, but then again we too were without Drogba, Robben and Makelele (who had to be substituted in the 13^th minute.) So I guess all was fair.
